PressurePro Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

PressurePro

The PressurePro Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) are wireless, electronic monitoring systems. PressurePro displays current tyre pressures and temperatures on demand, whether moving or stationary, and alerts drivers to low and high pressure situations. PressurePro also provides the capabilities to provide real time remote readings as well as data log pressures for downloading at a later time. PressurePro consists of two basic components including a Monitor and Sensors, and requires no professional assistance or tools to install.

Benefits

  • Increased Fuel Efficiency: Under inflated tyres waste over 2 BILLION gallons of fuel each year in the US alone. Further, under inflated tyres decrease a vehicle’s average MPG by as much as 3.3%.
  • Extended Tire Life: Under inflated tyres are the #1 cause of tyre failure and contribute to tyre disintegration, heat buildup, ply separation and sidewall/casing breakdowns. Further, a difference of 10 lbs. in pressure on a set of duals literally drags the lower pressured tyre 13 feet per mile.
  • Decreased Downtime & Maintenance: Under inflated tyres lead to costly hours of downtime and maintenance.
  • Added Safety: Under inflated tyres lead to tread separation and tyre failure resulting in 40,000 accidents, 33,000 injuries and over 650 deaths per year.
  • Added ‘Green’: Under inflated tyres are estimated by the DOT to release over 57.5 BILLION pounds of unnecessary Carbon Monoxide pollutants into the atmosphere each year.
Tyre pressure monitoring sensor Flat tyre alert
PressurePro assists to maintain proper pressurisation in vehicle tyres by displaying current pressures and alerting to low pressures. The PressurePro Monitor displays tyre positions, current tyre pressures and low pressure alerts, helping operators and drivers fix problems before critical damage occurs.

Elmore Sand & Gravel Saves $6,000 per Month

When the tires on your vehicle cost approximately $6,000 each, you become very sensitive to proper tire care. Still, with good inspection procedures, Elmore Sand and Gravel near Montgomery, Alabama was averaging replacing a tire per month on a fleet of eight heavy dump trucks – not because of tire wear but because of improper inflation!

The PressurePro wireless tire monitoring system proved to offer benefits that were readily apparent. PressurePro's Tire Pressure Monitoring System is easy to install with no tools required. PressurePro provides continuous monitoring of tire pressures and provides instant alerts to low or high pressure situations.

The system was installed in June of 2007. Since installation, not a single tire has been replaced due to problems associated with low tire pressure resulting in a savings of $6,000 per month, 2008 savings are projected at $72,000.
